Budapest day 1 and 2

As I promised, here is post about Budapest. Basically I decided to separate little bit, otherwise the post would be too long. This is first part where I put day 1 and 2 together and I will post day 3 tomorrow. Also I am thinking about making another post from Budapest with random pictures, I will see.

On Tuesday we got up early and go for the bus to Budapest, we got there about 3 pm. We checked in to our hotel, got something quick to eat and went to Széchenyi Bath. It was awesome! On the picture above you can see the outside pool – my favorite!

On Wednesday we got up about 9 am, had breakfast and went out to see the historical building and monuments. First stop was Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church.

Next stop was the Buda Castle.

After that we climbed up to the Citadella statue.

Than we walked to the other side to the Central Market Hall.

budapestvaciutcaAfter little bit of shopping we continued to Vaci street, full of restaurants and gift shops (Better to buy the gifts in the Market, it’s overly expensive at this street).

Than we saw the St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Opera house.

Than we took the metro to get closer to Heroes’ Square.

And continue to the park. After all that we went back to our hotel, took shower and went out for dinner.

More in next post!
